The VIP Property Securities portfolio aims to provide tax advantaged income and long term capital growth from investment in an actively managed, concentrated portfolio of property and property related companies and trusts listed on the ASX.
The portfolio invests in 4 to 10 Australian Real Estate Investment trusts (A-REITs) listed on the S&P/ASX 200 A-REIT Accumulation index that have been selected via a Quantitative and Qualitative screening process. This process aims to short list companies that are transparent and easy to understand, run by good management, priced below their valuation, &, display attractive growth prospects.
The VIP Property Securities portfolio is suitable for investors who:
- Seek exposure to a portfolio of listed property trusts and property related securities.
- Require a relatively regular income stream.
- Accept risks consistent with a concentrated portfolio of property and property related shares.
- Are prepared to invest for the minimum investment timeframe of between 5 and 7 years, and understand that capital preservation is not guaranteed.
The VIP Property Securities portfolio aims to be fully invested in Australian shares; however the portfolio can hold up to 100% allocation in Cash.
